Dottie Nagle Scholarship Program

THE PROGRAM

The Carolinas Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association, Inc. presents the Dottie Nagle Scholarship Program.  This program is available to assist employees of CRSMCA contractor and supplier members.  Employees and their families who plan to pursue post-secondary education in college or vocational programs are eligible for the merit-based scholarships.  Scholarship recipients will receive funding for one year of full-time study at any accredited post-secondary institution of the student's choice. 

The purpose of the Dottie Nagle Scholarship Program is to assist individuals seeking to further their education and pursue a career.

This scholarship program is administered by CRSMCA.  Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.

PARTICIPATE IN THE NEXT ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

Please consider participating in the 9th Annual Golf Tournament that will be hosted in October 2026, to assist in raising scholarship funds to be awarded in the Fall 2027 in the amount of $2,500 to (2) CRSMCA members and/or family members of CRSMCA members.  You may also assist by making direct donations to the Dottie Nagle Scholarship Program. 

Donations are tax-deductible as charitable contributions to the extent permitted under federal tax law.  

WHO WAS DOTTIE NAGLE?

Dorothy "Dottie" Nagle served as a CRSMCA staff member for over 25 years.  Dottie began as an administrative assistant in the early 1980s and began serving as an Executive Director in 1991.  Dottie Nagle served her community as well as CRSMCA as a mentor and demonstrated effective leadership.  Dottie was honored as the first "gentle lady" to receive the CRSMCA's Gordon M. Waters Distinguished Service Award in 2009.
